F.D. Strano Sales Information

Since 1947, F.D. Strano has been a family-owned and operated business, founded by Frank D. Strano. After serving his country as an engineer in WWII, Frank returned back home to Ambridge. Upon seeing other soldiers return home, start families, and build homes, Frank got the idea to enter the storm door and window business. By the early 1960's F.D Strano Sales had grown to a full-service remodeling business doing roofing, siding, gutter protection, patio covers and awnings, in addition to windows and storm doors. By the late 1960's the replacement industry was born, with the introduction of custom-built windows being made to fit into existing openings. In 1972, Frank's son, Bob, decided to join the company. At the same time, F.D. Strano Sales transformed from a full-service remodeling company to a company specializing in the replacement of doors and windows. A few years later, the transformation process was completed with the addition of sunrooms and porch enclosures being offered. Today, F.D. Strano Sales has become a leader in the window and sun room business in the tri-state area! Our dedicated staff along with Bob have over 100 years experience with F.D. Strano Sales! As well as the staff, homeowners can see full-size displays of our sun rooms, windows, and doors when visiting our showroom in Ambridge, P.A. F.D.
