The FBI Phoenix Citizens Academy Alumni Association (FBIPCAAA) is the founding Chapter in the FBI Citizens Academy Program, which originated in the FBI's Phoenix Division. The FBI's Citizens Academy program is designed to afford business and community leaders with an inside look at FBI investigative techniques and procedures and to undertake activities consistent with the expressed FBI priorities. The program further seeks to foster a greater understanding of the FBI's role in the community through frank discussion and education. The FBIPCAAA is a non-profit organization associated with, but not part of the FBI. Its members promote safer communities through community service projects and educating business, labor, media, medical, minority, religious, government, senior citizens, and other community leaders about law enforcement, with particular emphasis on the mission, resources, and limitations of the FBI.
