We have made progress in terms of the enrolment of both girls and boys in primary and secondary schools. With the help of USAIDs AEI-AGSP scholarship awards, a great number of girls and boys have sucessfully completed primary school. Standard Banks financial assistance has helped FAWENA to further support the secondary education of these girls. Specially trained focal teachers help in the selection and monitoring of these special girls and boys. This combined effort has seen the successful empowerment of many Namibian OVCs (Orphaned and Vulnerable Children). See more.
