Fates Group (“Fates” or the “Group”) is a global Family Office headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, that exclusively supports its Principal and Family Clients in connection with acquisitions, investments and business opportunities globally. Fates pursues the goal of multiplying value over open-ended investment horizons and selectively-capitalized investments in the following three areas: RENEWABLE ENERGY Fates has been investing for many years in renewable energy projects of various types - wind, solar, hydro and storage. The Group continues to have a strong interest in project investments that demonstrate predictable base returns with upside opportunity, particularly in emerging markets where its investee companies have established operations and have relevant domain knowledge. The Group has recently expanded its renewable sector portfolio agenda to include technology investments that: · Maximize renewable penetration and utility, e.g. hybrid generation and storage · Enable enhancement of project revenues and performance · Foster integration of renewable energy in energy markets The Group is particularly interested in opportunities that bring end-to-end renewable energy solutions to rural areas and emerging markets where its investee companies have established effective operations and maintenance support for their clients and relevant knowledge of the local cultures. TELECOM INFRASTRUCTURE Fates has long and extensive experience developing and acquiring telecom infrastructure, having invested successfully in both developed and emerging markets in wireless spectrum and towers, roaming networks, fiber links and fixed line operations. Fates considers telecom sector investments in most developed and emerging markets, with preference given to geographic nexus with the Group's other investments. FINTECH & FINANCIAL SERVICES The Group has funded and developed a new generation financial technology (fintech) ecosystem that provides a series of solutions as a service in the financial and government sectors. At the center of these services is a global compliance platform for KYC and AML solutions that integrates seamlessly with Fates’ portfolio of solutions and to blockchain and payment infrastructures operated by Family Clients and partners. Fates’ suite of fintech products and platforms include issuing and acquiring of traditional and proprietary payment instruments; global core banking as a service; and remittance technologies to service financial institutions of all sizes, including Government Organizations seeking to provide financial instruments to broaden the financial inclusion of their unbanked, underbanked and underserved populations.
