Our products are derived from 3D models, which give users a 2D image with much greater power and versatility. What does this mean for designers working with our images? They are able to take advantage of features that have previously only been available to 3D users: - Compose and composite with no masking required. You have separate subject, background, and shadow layers - all with pixel-perfect transparency. - Quickly select by part or by material with just a click. - Individually tweak Shine, Reflection, Lighting, and Base color to perfectly match a difficult backplate, or dramatically transform surface characteristics. - Accurately simulate volumetric and optical effects such as fog, haze, or depth-of-field blurring. Many of our PixelSquid products also offer an additional feature - the 360 Spinner. Spinners allow users to rotate a product to find and download an image of the exact angle that they’re looking for. Our goal with PixelSquid is to give designers a stock image with plenty of the traditional prep work already done for them, so they can skip to the part they actually enjoy doing - designing.
