FastCap® Ultracapacitors is a division of Nanoramic®, a company that specializes in advanced material solutions based on nano-carbons. Nanoramic’s® advanced materials solutions are enabling for a number of energy storage technologies including high performance ultracapacitors, which rely on nanocarbon-based electrodes. Our technology is derived from years of government funded research and development in advanced materials, including the application of carbon nanotubes in electrochemical systems as well as dispersion, compounding and coating processes for composites of nanotubes and other carbons. FastCap® produces the only ultracapacitors capable of operating in extreme environments, such as temperatures up to 150C and under conditions of high shock and vibration, and the first reflow solderable chip cap.
