Who We Are
Everything Kitchens started in 2002 with a new mother wanting to work from home, with a baby on the way. The owner, Emily Church, started working on Everything Kitchens in her bedroom with around $500 when she was 19 years old, launching it when she was 20. We have grown tremendously over the years, and we now occupy a 50,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Springfield, Missouri.
Since 2002, Everything Kitchens has been committed to providing top-quality kitchenware and appliances at the lowest prices possible, while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and customer service. Each member of our friendly, knowledgeable sales staff has undergone extensive, hands-on training with the products we offer. We are so confident in our unbeatable pricing that we back each of our products with our Best-Price Guarantee up to seven (7) days after the sale.
What We Do
We recognize that our success depends on the satisfaction of our loyal customers, which is why we strive to provide the highest quality kitchenware and appliances at the most competitive prices. We offer over 200 of your favorite kitchenware brands, including KitchenAid, Cuisinart, Waring, Wüsthof, Zwilling J.A. Henckel, Le Creuset, Blendtec, and many others. We are constantly updating and expanding our product line to provide a wider selection of kitchen items: from cookware to bakeware, dinnerware to glassware, appliances to gadgets, and all things in between.
Originally a Web-only store, we have quickly grown to accommodate the overwhelming demand of our customers, and are now proud to offer a full-service retail store in Springfield, Missouri. Between our two locations, we operate over 50,000 square feet of warehouse and retail space and offer over 12,000 products to our customers.
Homeward Bound ends homelessness in WNC by moving people into permanent housing, and providing the support that they need to stay there. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit and currently operate in Buncombe and Henderson Counties.
Community Rebuilders is a strengths-based, housing first, scattered-site housing agency operating in Kent County. Our mission is rebuilding hope through housing opportunities for families and individuals with support services during transitions.
In 2017, Community Rebuilders led a successful community wide effort to end Veteran homelessness in Kent County. An effort that led to Kent County being the first county in the State of Michigan to be recognized by the United Stated Interagency Council on Homelessness for effectively ending Veteran homelessness.
The process that led us here today was often criticized. Most of this criticism was focused on the methods we used, not the results we produced. What we did was innovate—innovation that was sometimes disruptive to current practices and beliefs. It was disruptive to existing processes of data collection, outreach efforts, and coordination of service delivery.
It was also disruptive to lines of control and authority. We were, however, always focused on the possibility of making Veteran homelessness both rare and brief in our community.
We have successfully reduced the length of time Veterans are homeless in our community. We have improved service delivery systems that reduce the trauma of homelessness and the damage it does to the lives of Veterans in our community. We must, as a community, take the lessons we have learned and direct future attention to aligning resources to continue to better serve all those who enter homelessness and continue to work to eliminate the experience of homelessness entirely.
