Tom Farrell, a seasoned corporate lawyer, is the principal and founder of this solo practice, which offers high quality and efficient legal services at cost-effective rates. Tom has been practicing for nearly twenty years, starting at a large firm in Boston, then serving in senior in-house counsel positions, and now running his own firm -- giving him extensive experience as both a buyer of legal services and a provider of those services. As a result, Tom has a deep understanding of client needs and the best methods for delivering practical, efficient and high-value legal services to meet those needs. Tom's practice has a focus in the following three areas:Acquisitions and Divestitures - Since inception of his firm in the Fall of 2006, Tom has closed over $400 Million in transactions, handling the transactions in all phases (from letter of intent through due diligence, negotiation and drafting of the purchase agreement, and closing). General Commercial Agreements - Tom has experience negotiating and drafting a wide range of fundamental commercial agreements, including consulting, alliance, distribution, lease, license, non-compete, non-disclosure, manufacturing, marketing, sales, service, supply, and technology development agreements. Corporate Formations - Tom has experience helping entrepreneurs establish, build and maintain their corporate entities, from standard for profit corporations to limited liability companies and in industries as diverse as insurance, health care and sports training.
