Faronics Wise Information

Originally created in 2006, Faronics Wise was designed primarily as a web-based teaching, learning and communication platform for hospitalised students. The objective at the time was to provide a secure location in which personal and curriculum data could reside and also a means by which families could follow the progress of their child and communicate with teaching staff. Today, with the help of our partner schools, Faronics Wise has evolved into a comprehensive web-based MIS platform, providing a very cost-effective and efficient solution to the many challenges facing mainstream schools, alternative provision providers, PRUs and special education establishments in the UK. The overall objective for the Faronics Wise team has always been to provide an agile and intuitive platform with tools that not only integrate with existing systems, but also consolidate costly software applications and manual paper and pen processes. Partnering with schools in the UK has really helped the Faronics Wise team to optimise the way in which school data is managed. By simplifying numerous admin tasks and creating intuitive teaching and learning tools using our school partners’ feedback, we are able to steer our technology in the direction our customers need it to go.
