The amount of arable land is decreasing due to poor management practices and there currently isn’t enough left to feed this many people via traditional farming. FarmedHere® addresses this food sustainability issue with an indoor vertical farm. Our aquaponic growing technologies save up to 97% of fresh water and allow us to produce organic food an average of two- to three-times faster than traditional farming methods. Your food no longer needs to travel 1,200 miles before it reaches you. Because we grow locally at FarmedHere®, we create jobs in our urban community and greatly reduce our carbon footprint by eliminating long distance transportation.
