Fallow Studio Information

Fallow Studio designs and makes. Interior architecture, bespoke joinery and furniture, drawn in the studio and built in the workshop by the same person. Whether you're a homeowner, an architect or a contractor, that duality shapes everything: we design with the workshop in mind, so details are resolved for buildability and budget before they reach the machine, and you get one point of accountability from first sketch to final install. Everything we make is machine made by hand. The CNC handles complexity and precision; the hands do the rest: doweled joints, sanded edges, careful finishing and assembly, and none of the visible tabs that give routine CNC away. When a build outgrows the team, a network of independent London makers adds capacity. Alongside commissions, we release our own furniture line in seasonal batches. Hence the name (which also happens to be mine). Like land left fallow, ideas grow richer with time, and pieces are made only when they're needed, never to fill a shelf. The same restraint runs through the materials: FSC-certified timber, natural finishes, and construction designed for disassembly and reuse. Have a tricky space that needs rethinking?
