Bishop's Stortford College
One of the UK's leading independent, co-educational day and boarding schools, Bishop’s Stortford College is a wonderful place of learning in a beautiful setting on the edge of a market town between London and Cambridge. It is a place large enough to provide an exceptional range of opportunities, yet small enough for each child to be known and valued. Our love of life and learning enables pupils to grow into well-rounded, skilful, caring and confident people, equipped and ready for the adventures and opportunities life has to offer.

A leading, state-maintained and academically selective school for boys in North London. In 1573 Elizabeth I issued a Charter “for the establishment of the Free Grammar School of Queen Elizabeth in Barnet for the education, bringing up and instruction of boys in Grammar and other learning and the same to continue for ever.” Today QE remains a non-denominational, non-fee-paying, selective School with a mission of producing confident, able and responsible young men and, as such, continues to reflect the essential tenets of its Tudor Charter.
