The Fairley Foundation was established in 1965 with a bequest from respected Shepparton businessman, Sir Andrew Fairley, of Shepparton Preserving Company Ltd (SPC). In 1927 he became the first Mayor of Shepparton. According to his instructions, the Fairley Foundation is for the benefit of the people and communities of the Greater Shepparton area.
