Ten Thousand Villages is a nonprofit, retail organization whose mission is to collaborate with artisans in under-resourced communities to earn income by bringing their products and stories to our markets through long-term, fair-trading relationships.

Fairtrade International is a non-profit, multi-stakeholder organisation made up of member organisations around the world. It is responsible for the strategic direction of Fairtrade, setting the Fairtrade Standards and supporting producers in developing countries.Our mission is to connect disadvantaged producers and consumers, promote fairer trading conditions and empower producers to combat poverty, strengthen their position and take more control over their lives. Our vision and mission will be reflected in the values by which we work as an organisation so that we ourselves set an example for the changes we seek in others. Therefore we will work collaboratively and seek to empower those who wish to be partners in our mission.
