Fafalios Shipping SA was established in Piraeus in September 1968. Since then, the company has been specializing in the management of dry bulk carriers varying in size from 8.000 to 130.000 dwt and for periods ranging from 18 months to more than 20 years. During this time, Fafalios Shipping SA has supervised the construction of more than 20 Newbuildings ranging from 8,000 dwt ice-class forest product carriers to 13,500 - 17,000 dwt general cargo/ multi-purpose ships and 28,000 - 75,000 dwt bulk carriers. Today, our company specializes in the management of dry bulk carriers and is providing a wide range of services. The 6th and 7th generation of our family is presently involved in the business, while most of them are also actively involved in industry organizations such as classification societies, the Baltic Exchange, the ICS, the UGS, the GSCC, P&I Clubs and others.
