The Faculty of Computing and IT is the Premier Computing Faculty in the region offering a range educational programs and services. Currently the Faculty has a student population of about 5000 students and is one largest computing faculties in Africa. Makerere University is a Premier University that in Africa was started in 1922 and offers a range of academic programs.
