Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Information

The distinction between cosmetic and reconstructive facial surgery is an artificial one. Regardless of the reason, I am still operating on an area that will change how a person looks forever. For that reason, I feel grateful every day that I have the opportunity to specialize solely in surgery of such a complex, challenging, and rewarding area. My work will be on display for the entire world to see at all times, and that is why I chose to dedicate my entire training path and career exclusively to surgery of the face and neck. Double board-certified, and voted one of the top Rhinoplasty and Facelift surgeons in Louisville, Dr. Katrib has succeeded in making us a leading Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery practice in the Greater Louisville area. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Katrib went on to complete both an internship year in General Surgery and four years in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Louisville. During his training, he gained extensive experience in facial trauma surgery as well as head and neck cancer ablative and reconstructive surgery. At the completion of his Head and Neck Surgery residency at the University of Louisville, Dr. Katrib was accepted into a highly competitive Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship with the world renowned and 2015-2016 President of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Edwin Williams in Latham, NY. During this training, he gained extensive hands-on experience in all aspects of reconstructive and cosmetic surgery of the face and neck. Without a doubt one of the best surgeons around. My daughter went through a 7 hour surgery with him and I couldnt have asked for a better doctor. He explained the whole procedure more than once to make sure we understood what was going to happen.
