FAB! seeks to build creative young generations with logical reasoning and social consciousness. To do so, it develops digital technology workshops promoting complex learning and enhancing the understanding through the use and development of technology. One of the most common workshops that FAB implements is "Makers in Residence". This is a program created at Stanford University by Prof. Paulo Blikstein and FAB brought and adapted it to Mexico for teenagers to enhance their learning process by “making” technology. The idea of the organization is to provide workshops where young people learn to generate tangible technology and release their creativity using technology (such as 3d printers, robotics, laser cutting and programming). Participants always work in teams creating a sense of community and developing inventions or systems to help them solve local, community or social problems they face in their everyday life.
