F4LABMED Foundation for Laboratory Medicine Information

F4LABMED is a charitable foundation aiming at contributing to the development of Laboratory Medicine in Switzerland by supporting research projects dedicated to biomarkers. The foundation supports the salaries of biomedical professionals involved in clinically oriented innovative research projects dedicated to biomarker discovery and validation in the following fields: ➢ cardiovascular diseases ➢ neurological diseases ➢ immunological diseases ➢ gastrointestinal diseases ➢ infectious diseases MISSION - Encouraging translational research for personalized and precision medicine - Supporting researchers to help them to develop and pursue their projects in Switzerland ACTION - Providing scholarships to biomedical staff ( doctors, biochemists, pharmacists, biologists ... ) involved in any innovative project with a strong clinical orientation and on the discovery and validation of biomarkers - Giving the priority to hospital translational projects combining clinical and in vitro studies, as well as projects focusing on the diseases for which there is no effective biomarkers The activities of the foundation are supported by the Swiss Society of Clinical Chemistry (SSCC).
