EzLab turns your smartphone into a connected, mobile lab. In conjunction with a specially-developed App, the smartphone’s built-in camera detects a whole range of analytes, including bacteria, viruses and other molecules. Images are cross-referenced in real-time against our proprietary and interactive image database. EzLab Systems develops new ways to use mobile phones and tablets to collect images for medical, scientific, environmental and educational purposes. EzLab Systems adds optics, illumination, fluidics cutting edge technology and automation to unmodified mobile phones and tablets to create mobile microscopes and multiple other monitoring solutions. EzLab Systems devices offer a myriad solutions that can achieve micron and sub-micron spatial resolution, geographic information systems and real-time analysis interfaces depending on the application. Currently, the company also develops custom software for mobile microscopes to coordinate image collection, annotation, data management, web connection, and, for a growing number of applications, automated image analysis. Together with collaborators around the world, EzLab Systems is testing the use of mobile microscopy to solve real-world problems, ranging from the urban world to the most extreme places.
