EZ-RYDR Information

EZ-RYDR is a subscription-based ridesharing company exclusively for college students – one payment for a selected term in exchange for unlimited rides within a predefined radius of campus. Current ridesharing companies are unpredictable, whether it be passing on unnecessary surge charges to the customer or simply having limited to no presence in many college cities. Combine that with students’ tendency to make ill-advised budgeting decisions regarding safe transportation and EZ-RYDR becomes the visible solution. Any budgeting decisions are removed since there are no per-ride transactions – they’re all paid for up front. In addition, operational efficiencies will be realized by servicing multiple ride requests in a single trip via the "shared ride"​ concept and leveraging large capacity shuttles. SAFETY. Simply put, safety is EZ-RYDR's primary core value. Drivers will undergo face-to-face interviews and an in-vehicle evaluation. For students, all financial decisions are out of their hands. No more worries with per-ride transactions and facing unnecessary surge charges. We also feature an in-app SOS/Panic/Emergency button for both the Driver and RYDRs. If a medical emergency occurs mid-transit, or one of the involved parties doesn't feel safe, they can contact a pre-populated emergency list at the touch of a button that informs their real-time location. Local authorities and EZ-RYDR admin will also be notified. RELIABILITY. Sick of waiting forever for a driver to be available? Worry no more. Servicing a niche market with a subscription-based structure allows EZ-RYDR to actively maintain a right-sized driver base, promoting a more reliable service to meet student demand, even during high demand periods.
