Helping People Overcome Transportation Challenges At EZ Ride, we believe that a safe, affordable & reliable transportation system is essential to quality of life and economic growth. Transportation is a daily concern for commuters who cannot afford to drive to work, older adults who no longer drive, and businesses whose employees and customers face limited transportation options. For more than 40 years, we have helped people overcome these barriers by partnering with businesses and governments to plan and implement solutions such as carpools, vanpools, shuttles, biking & walking programs and rides with Lyft and Uber. More recently, we have expanded our work to support the transition to electric vehicles by providing the guidance, resources and recognition needed to install on-site charging. In alignment with the state's VIsion Zero goal of eliminating traffic fatalities, we are advancing initiatives that make roadways safer for all users. Factoids • The EZ Ryde4Life program, in partnership with Uber and Lyft, operates in all 21 New Jersey counties and provides more than 10,000 rides each month. • EZ Ride shuttles operate 24/7 and transport about 400riders each weekday, making us one of New Jersey's largest minibus shuttle providers. • In the Greater Newark area, more than 100 riders use EZ Ride shuttles each night between 1:00 and 5:00 a.m.to travel to and from jobs at Newark Airport. • Our bicycle and pedestrian team serves more than 1,000 schools in 170 municipalities. • Each year, we host about 450 bicycle and pedestrian events that reach more than 60,000 students. • EZ Ride leads New Jersey's Electric Vehicle Adoption Leadership (EVAL) program, which recognizes worksites that support EV adoption, including workplace charging.
