Hachette Livre, filiale de Lagardère SCA, est le troisième éditeur de livres grand public (trade) et d’éducation dans le monde. Sur le périmètre France, Hachette Livre, fruit d’une construction patiente entamée en 1826, couvre, à travers une quarantaine de maisons, tous les segments de l’édition grand public et a publié plus de 8000 nouveautés en 2017. Dans le segment scolaire, le nom de Louis Hachette, fortement attaché à l’univers des livres scolaires, côtoie les noms prestigieux de Hatier et de Larousse. Une dizaine de maisons, fortes de catalogues qui font partie du patrimoine national, couvrent la littérature générale. Dans l’univers pratique, trois maisons d’édition de première importance, Hachette Pratique, Marabout et Larousse, permettent au Groupe d’être leader sur ce segment. The Journal of Educational Change publishes important ideas and evidence of educational change. It investigates how men and women, older and younger teachers, students, parents, and others experience change. It also examines the social, economic, cultural, and political forces driving educational change. While presenting the positive aspects of change, the journal raises many challenging questions about educational change as well. Contributions represent a range of disciplines, including history, psychology, political science, sociology, anthropology, philosophy, and administrative and organizational theory. Moreover, the journal draws attention to a broad spectrum of methodologies, including quantitative and qualitative approaches, documentary study, action research, and conceptual development. Key topics include educational innovation, reform and restructuring, school improvement and effectiveness, culture building, inspection, school review, and change management.
