Eyecare Project is an optometry and dry eye clinic located in Hawthorn, Melbourne. Our team provides comprehensive dry eye management, myopia management and contact lens fitting, with personalised care for each patient. We use clinical assessment, diagnostic imaging and ocular surface testing to assess conditions such as dry eye disease and meibomian gland dysfunction. These findings allow us to establish a clinical baseline, recommend an individualised management plan and monitor changes over time. For patients preparing for vision correction, cataract or corneal surgery, we can assess and manage the ocular surface before treatment and communicate with the treating ophthalmologist where appropriate. Recommendations may include eyelid hygiene, in-practice eyelid cleaning and short-term dry eye management based on the patient’s individual needs. We also provide facial IPL services for suitable patients following an individual consultation and assessment. Treatment suitability, expected benefits, limitations and potential risks are discussed before proceeding.
