EYE2DRIVE Information

EYE2DRIVE, previously known as EYE-TECH, is a fabless semiconductor company. We develop silicon-based solutions for digital imaging inspired by human eyes. The company is based in Carrara, a town on the coast of Tuscany, Italy. EYE2DRIVE was founded by Monica Vatteroni, the company’s CEO, to improve digital image quality and enable computer vision for applications where today’s image-sensing solutions fail. EYE2DRIVE goes behind the traditional concept of image sensors by enabling intelligent imaging acquisition that mimics the human eye flexibility by integrating its unique sensing technology with AI algorithms in a device able to adapt its response to environmental and light conditions. The result is images always rich in details, independent of the illumination condition, and ready to be used for feature extraction more simply and reliably. This capability creates advantages, especially in intelligent vision applications such as autonomous navigation, where the decisions taken by AI algorithms are based on sensor feed, and missing information means failure.
