Extended Care Physicians (ECP) provides primary medical care to residents of Post Acute Long Term Care (PA/LTC) (Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities and Retirement Communities) in North Carolina and South Carolina. ECP is a physician owned and physician led medical practice of board certified and board eligible Physicians, Geriatric, Adult and Family Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants focused exclusively on PA/LTC. Since 2000, ECP has provided specialized primary medical care to older adults in over 130 PA/LTC facilities throughout North and South Carolina. ECP Physicians demonstrate their commitment to improving long term care through active participation in both the American Medical Directors Association (AMDA) and the Long Term Care Vision Group.
