Extend, Inc Information

Extend Inc. is a California corporation located in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Company was founded in April 1993 to provide software development services for companies in the United States. On 2001, Extend, Inc established a software development and test group in Guangzhou, China to expand its software development and test services capability at lower costs. The Founders Extend, Inc. was founded by Paul Ling and Lorraine Ling, both holding BA degrees of Computer Science from UC Berkeley. Paul Ling, CEO of Extend Inc. was born in Guangzhou, China. He came to the United States in 1979 and earned his BA degree in Computer Science from UC Berkeley in 1983. He worked for Mentor Graphics in the 80’s with responsibilities including software development and QA testing. He co-founded Extend, Inc. in early 90’s to provide software development services for Microsoft, HP, US Post office, and several startup companies. He developed components which shipped on Microsoft Outlook98, and 2000. He has established a software development office in Guangzhou, China in 2001 and personally trained software developers there with US software development discipline.
