The primary focus is on specialised consultancy and training courses in the downstream oil sector with an emphasis on oil supply chain trading and economics linked to price risk management. Extac was founded in 2011 by Michael Jarvis after an extensive career in the oil industry followed by 10 years as both an independent consultant and provider of specific training courses in conjunction with a private energy instructional organisation. Michael also provides pro bono services to public and local government groups on welfare reform and change management. He is co-founder of AFILEA an alliance of families and friends whose aim is to promote the interests of those with learning impairments who wish to live independently in the community.
