The company invested heavily in new plant and machinery since its inception to meet the continually changing safety standards and architectural designs in Australia. On its 40th anniversary in 2009, CITY GLASS acquired a Laminating Plant allowing the company to produce, all types of laminated glass including toughened, heat strengthened, ballistic, energy efficient and sound reduction laminates. CITY GLASS continued to acquire plant and processing machines to take it into the 21st Century. CITY GLASS was located in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane, Australia and was recognised as one of the biggest suppliers of toughened and laminated glass with a vision on innovation and design in architectural, energy efficient, toughened, laminated, auto-marine and ceramic coat glass.

Urban Windows & Doors is a quality custom built window and door company providing service to High End Residential House Builders and Commercial Builders in South Australia. The Company has been in operation since October 2006 and has completed many landmark projects across Adelaide including the Adelaide Airport Landside Infrastructure, 70 Franklin St building, Baju Henley Beach Apartments, along with many, many others. A name change was decided in 1990 to best reflect our three glass companies and Action Glass & Aluminium was decided, the company has earned a reputation as a leader in customer service excellence, quality and integrity.
