Expert-Grup Information

Expert-Grup is a Moldovan non-governmental and not-for-profit organization specialized in economic research. It does not represent any grass-roots or corporate interests but is rather an outcome and reflection of the ideals of the intellectuals who have created the institution and worked as part of it with the purpose of promoting public interest and advancing Moldova’s development. Among other types of organizations composing the Moldovan civil society Expert-Grup positions itself as a non-partisan think-tank with no political affiliations promoting wide societal interests. As independent think-tank the Expert-Grup sees its mission in creating the working environment in which the free and non-trivial thinking thrives in order for the institution to be a leading source of unbiased economic analysis and to effectively advocate for innovative ideas and solutions to the economic problems that Moldova encounters along its path of economic transformation, societal development and European integration.
