Das Ziel von Experiment e.V. ist seit 95 Jahren der Austausch zwischen Menschen aller Kulturen, Religionen und Altersgruppen. Experiment e.V. ist gemeinnützig und das deutsche Mitglied von „The Experiment in International Living" (EIL). 2025 ermöglichte Experiment e.V. circa 2.000 Teilnehmenden interkulturelle Begegnungen im Ausland und in Deutschland. Fast ein Viertel von ihnen erhielt ein Stipendium. Kooperationspartner sind u.a. die Botschaft der USA, das Bundesministerium für Bildung, Familie, Senioren, Frauen und Jugend, das Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung, der Deutsche Bundestag und die Claussen-Simon-Stiftung.
