The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is the greatest platform for creative freedom in the world – no individual or committee decides what should and should not appear. Anything is possible. The Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society was founded by artists to nurture and uphold the Fringe's values of inclusivity, experimentation and imagination. We exist to support, encourage and inspire artists from all backgrounds, provide information and assistance to audiences, and promote the Fringe and what it stands for all over the world. Every year, the international arts community comes together for the Fringe to perform, share ideas and make connections. It is the world’s foremost performing arts market where careers are made, and new and innovative work discovered. Fringe audiences are encouraged to take risks and try something new. The Fringe is a place to discover hidden gems, new genres, unusual spaces and the next big thing. The Fringe was one of the 20th century’s greatest innovations, a precursor to social media in providing a platform for anyone who wanted their voice to be heard. The Fringe continues to grow and evolve, embracing new technologies, audiences and ideas.

The Orlando Fringe is the longest running Fringe Festival in the United States, celebrating 35 years as “Orlando’s most unique cultural experience”. Orlando Fringe’s mission is to create cost effective platforms, equitable opportunities, and resources for live performance and visual arts that connect communities through creative risk-taking, experimentation and exploration. The Orlando Fringe Festival will always strive to be 100% Unjuried, Uncensored, Inclusive, and Accessible to All Bodies, All Abilities, and All Identities. The Hollywood Fringe Festival is an annual, open-access, community-derived event celebrating freedom of expression and collaboration in the performing arts community. Each June during the Hollywood Fringe, the arts infiltrate the Hollywood neighborhood: fully equipped theaters, parks, clubs, churches, restaurants and other unexpected places host hundreds of productions by local, national, and international arts companies and independent performers. Participation in the Hollywood Fringe is completely open and uncensored. This free-for-all approach underlines the festival’s mission to be a platform for artists without the barrier of a curative body. By opening the gates to anyone with a vision, the festival is able to exhibit the most diverse and cutting-edge points-of-view the world has to offer. Additionally, by creating an environment where artists must self-produce their work, the Fringe motivates its participants to cultivate a spirit of entrepreneurialism in the arts. The Hollywood Fringe Festival is a non-profit company. The festival gives 100% of box office revenue back to participating artists and venues—that’s over 2.3 million dollars since the inaugural festival in 2010.
