THGI Ltd is an industrial and provident society formed to own and manage Exeter Street Hall, a wonderful Victorian building in the Prestonville area of Brighton. In 2012 the Hall was about to be sold by the church to property developers. Members of the community rallied round and created a community share offer, ultimately raising £178,000 over 800 shareholders before buying the Hall in 2013. The Hall is now run as a non-profit community space and proudly offers a wide range of events of activity for the widest range of people. Exeter Street Hall has been at the heart of the Prestonville community for over 130 years. Through careful management by a passionate group of volunteers the Hall will be there for many years to come.
