Exeter, founded in 1781 by John and Elizabeth Phillips, has a tradition of academic excellence, a distinguished faculty, and a long history of educating young people to find their place in the world. Choate Rosemary Hall is a coeducational boarding and day school for grades 9-12 and a post-graduate year. A rigorous academic curriculum with an emphasis on character formation is at the core of the School's mission. The school was founded in 1890 and is based in Wallingford, Connecticut.

Harvard-Westlake School is an independent coeducational college preparatory day school, grades 7-12. It is the result of a merger between Harvard School, founded in 1900, and Westlake School for Girls, established in 1904. Coeducation began in September of 1991. The middle school campus is located in Holmby Hills section of Los Angeles, and the upper school campus is located in Studio City, CA.
