Exchange Club Yellow Umbrella Information

Exchange Club Yellow Umbrella is one of 78 nationally accredited child abuse prevention centers. As a nonprofit 501(C)(3) agency we are supported through local donations, fundraising, contracts with Brevard Family Partnership, Brevard CARES, Then National Exchange Club, Exchange Club of Sebastian and class and workshop fees. ECYU reaches throughout all of Brevard County to provide services. The effects of child abuse can not always be seen. It does not always leave a physical bruise; it can be subtle and last a lifetime. Many parents need help dealing with today’s challenges of raising children. Through education from the Yellow Umbrella Center, parents can find pathways to a more positive family experience. ECYU guides parents in this journey showing them loving and affirmative ways to parent. Since 1988, over 100,000 parents and children have benefited from ECYU programs; programs available to anyone who seeks a stronger parent-child connection. Services are offered to all families with children. Our accredited Parent Aide Program is provided in-home to families with children in their homes under the age of 13. Many services are provided for free in-home and in support group sessions throughout Brevard County. Offices locations can be found in Cocoa Village and Palm Bay for donation support and training. Classes in Parent Education, Anger Management for both Adults and Youth are offered in libraries and locations convenient to the client. Classes are on-going and you are welcome to join at any time space is available.
