We are a small boutique firm working in the corporate area to keep the marketplace honest. We keep watch on the corporate sector. You could roughly describe us as offering the services of a very mini-Bloombergs and a very small private ASIC but more focussed for specific clients. We offer a range of services covering research and analysis, reporting, benchmarking and advisory/speaking work. We also offer a 'whistleblowing' service where all other traditional avenues for exposure and resolution have failed. We have established this business with the primary objective to ask (and answer) how well are the board and management looking after the company, and are they reporting a 'true and fair' view of the company to all the stakeholders? This is normally regarded as the domain of corporate governance and financial reporting. We believe there is an enormous vacuum in this area because of the mismatch between the perception and the reality of what is occurring. The current legal/accounting framework and 'standards' have become less relevant and oftentimes are 'gamed' by the very professionals who should be safeguarding them. We are very small but we have bold ambitions to make a difference for the better.
