Exa is a data sciences company, connecting our clients to meaningful insights from their data, organized and packaged to be understandable and actionable for scientists, policy analysts, and decision-makers. Exa specializes in environmental data management, statistics, science support, mapping and user interface development serving private sector clients, as well as state, federal and international environmental agencies. Our mission is to ensure high quality data using our combined experience in database development, QA/QC and validation, GIS mapping, web-based data delivery, statistical scripting, data visualization, and user interface development rooted in marine and environmental science. We focus on developing client-driven, cost-effective solutions for optimizing the collection, processing, and analysis of environmental sampling and survey information. Our passion is to work with scientists, managers, and policy administrators to enable accurate and intuitive information through data visualization and public outreach. Exa is a distributed company such that staff work from their home offices in western Washington State and British Columbia, Canada.
