We are EVolution Therapeutics, an innovative biotech spin-out from Aston University with a visionary mission: to redefine the treatment of inflammatory disease by harnessing the body’s own resolution and repair pathways. Inflammation is essential for survival — but when the body fails to resolve it, it can become a driver of tissue damage, impaired healing and chronic disease. Across conditions such as non-healing wounds, inflammatory skin disease, pulmonary disease, fibrosis and cardiovascular disease, unresolved inflammation remains a major cause of patient suffering, healthcare burden and unmet clinical need. Current anti-inflammatory treatments often focus on suppressing inflammatory signals. While this can provide short-term relief, it does not always restore the biological processes needed to resolve inflammation and repair damaged tissue. At EVolution Therapeutics, we are taking a different approach. Our local mRNA-LNP hydrogel platform is designed to deliver pro-resolving biology directly to diseased tissue, shifting the local environment away from chronic inflammation and towards repair, regeneration and restored function. Our lead programme focuses on chronic non-healing wounds — a visible, measurable and high-need clinical entry point for our broader inflammation-resolution platform. But our ambition extends far beyond wounds.
