The Playful Parrot was hatched, (pun intended) about 18 years ago. The idea then, as it is now is to provide a wide variety of safe, quality bird toystoys birds love. In the summer of 2005, we learned that the person that created the Playful Parrot was going to close the business. We panicked because we had come to rely on her for the majority of our bird toys. We were driving to a retail show as consumers, and while Pam was making a list of the toys that she wanted to stock up on, I was making a mental list of questions I had about perhaps purchasing the business. Same trip, same car, different agendas. Needless to say, we closed our eyes and jumped. Since that time, we have endeavored to expand our lines, and bring you the best toys available. We also have a good selection of perches, supplements and other bird products. In addition to the Playful Parrot brand of bird toys, we also carry products from Planet Pleasures, Lucky Bird, Natures Instinct, Polly's Pet Products, Sweet Feet and Beak, Fetch-it-Pets, and more. We have six birds.
