EVEN was born from a simple but powerful idea: to make conscious food and living more approachable, more beautiful, and more delicious. Since opening the first Roots café in 2015, we’ve grown into a dynamic hospitality group with cafés, kitchens, and a bakery in Zurich and Basel. We believe that food, coffee, and space should nourish both body and mind – and we’re on a mission to bring that philosophy to life. We develop and manage holistic ventures that combine thoughtful design, hospitality concepts, and tailored food solutions. All our projects share a commitment to environmental responsibility, ethical sourcing, and holistic nutrition, setting new standards in hospitality, inspiring healthier choices, and creating a lasting positive impact on the world of food and wellbeing. EVEN is the umbrella organization for Roots (with multiple locations in Zurich), Roots Kitchen, Coffeebond, and Hortus Kitchen, and we are proud partners of the Zurich-based sports company Balboa and the artisanal Collective Bakery. Together, we strive to deliver exceptional experiences that are sustainable, meaningful, and inspiring.
