Created in 2010, EuroVoD is a network of independent European Video on Demand platforms specialising in art-house films and independent cinema. Started as a rights holders' initiative, this European network adopted a collaborative management model, where small and medium enterprises pool resources and exchange know-how to increase the transnational circulation of European films. EuroVoD also strives to defend cultural diversity, develop Video on Demand as a new, legal channel for the distribution of audiovisual content and provides a new financial resource for the production of European films. With members in 12 countries, the network is constantly growing and already reaches a European audience of more than 385 million people, with more than 10,000 films available to watch.
