Euromines Information

Euromines – the European Association of Mining Industries, Metal Ores & Industrial Minerals – is the leading voice of the European metals and minerals mining sector. Our core mission is to promote responsible industry practices and to ensure that mining is appropriately recognised within EU policymaking. As a collaborative network, Euromines unites its Secretariat and Members to evaluate the impact of European and international policies on the sector, and to develop cohesive positions and coordinated responses. We represent a total of 41 members, including 15 national mining federations, 17 direct company members, and 9 associated members. Together, they supply 54 different commodities, underscoring the sector’s critical role in Europe’s industrial value chains and strategic autonomy. Our membership spans both large multinationals and smaller enterprises, as well as their subsidiaries across Europe and beyond. Euromines champions a sustainable, innovative, and competitive mining industry that supports the EU’s climate and economic objectives.
