Eurocrowd works on innovation finance systems and European programme environments, focusing on how these systems are designed and function in practice. Our work builds on long-term experience across EU programmes, European alternative finance, crowdfunding, startups and ecosystem development. We operate at the intersection of policy, capital, and execution. Its work has included contributions to European-level discussions around crowdfunding and digital finance, as well as the design and delivery of EU-funded programmes, acceleration initiatives, funding support structures, and market development activities involving platforms, investors, startups, and public institutions. This experience informs our current focus: understanding how funding systems function once they are put into operation—how they are adopted, where friction emerges, and what is needed to make them work in practice. Eurocrowd works with public institutions, programmes, and selected market actors on questions such as: How will this funding system function in practice? Will it be adopted by its intended users? Where are the structural risks in implementation? How do policy objectives translate into workable market structures? The scope of our work generally includes: funding system design and implementation support to EU programmes (Horizon, Erasmus+, etc.) alignment of policy, capital, and delivery structures development of funding and acceleration approaches ecosystem and stakeholder engagement where relevant The focus is not on legal structuring or financial engineering, but on how systems behave once different actors, incentives, and operational realities interact.
