Eureka! Trust Information

Eureka! is an organisation at the forefront of fostering the next generation of leaders in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Each year Eureka! runs the Sir Paul Callaghan Eureka! Awards to encourage our scientific leaders of tomorrow to share their ideas with us today. At the core of these awards is the want, with the use of STEM, to create a better New Zealand. The successful applicants will be those who are able to demonstrate their knowledge on their topic, evaluate how their idea will benefit New Zealanders economically, environmentally and/or socially and clearly communicate their ideas to an audience comprising both the scientific and business community. Eureka! endeavours to give our current talent an opportunity to share their ideas! Many of our current, and former, winners have gone out to the field to be the leaders in both the scientific world and business world. It lies to the core of the ethos of Eureka! that talent must be harnessed, and those with talent must be given the opportunity to achieve. Entry into the Sir Paul Callaghan Eureka! Awards is open to all secondary school students year 11-13 and undergraduate tertiary students (younger than 25).
