The principal practitioner is Dr. Praveen Chintapanti, who touched and transformed many lives in unassuming yet compelling ways. He carries a mystically incredible aura that brings the art, science and spirituality to a convergence that enriches an individual's inward journey.
Dr. Praveen Chintapanti, worked as a consultant Psychiatrist at National Health Service (NHS), London, UK for 12 years. Prior to that, he pursued his studies from NIMHANS, Bangalore and Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad.
The Mindful Path is a company created by Cheryl Jones in 2003. Cheryl has devoted her entire career as a healthcare professional to exploring and teaching best practices for health and well-being that can be easily integrated into everyday life. She was formerly Director of Mindfulness at Aetna.
Cheryl's background includes undergrad and Master's degrees in Health and Exercise Science. She was extensively trained in the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn himself. Expanding on this integrated approach to wellness, Cheryl studied human development and spiritual counseling at the University of Saint Joseph.
She brought all of this to Aetna, where she led strategic initiatives improving the health and well-being of employees, customers, and communities. Cheryl received the Chairman's Leadership Award and the Norman Vincent Peale Award for Positive Thinking for integrating mindfulness into corporate culture.
