EUCEN – The European University Continuing Education Network – is the largest European network dedicated to advancing University lifelong learning (ULLL). Founded in 1991, EUCEN connects 170 members across 35 countries, including universities, continuing education providers, national networks, NGOs, civil society organisations, and cross-sector stakeholders. Our reach spans around 800 higher education institutions in Europe and 300 in the Americas; and, through strategic alliances, we are linked to over 3,000 organisations worldwide. With over 34 years of expertise, EUCEN supports the development of university lifelong learning (ULLL) and advances it at the European policy level. We work directly with HEIs and advocate in Brussels to shape EU policy, share knowledge, and promote inclusive, innovative, and sustainable education.
