Directly stemming from the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), BUILD UP is the European Commission’s portal for energy efficiency and renewable energy in buildings, supporting professionals in the transition towards a more sustainable built environment. Managed by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), BUILD UP highlights and promotes expertise across Europe, from policy insights to real-world solutions, providing access to technical content, latest developments and good practices, and facilitating the exchange of knowledge that supports the implementation of EU legislation and drives innovation in the sector. It also provides insights into how the recast EPBD is being implemented across Member States, showcasing national approaches, progress and on-the-ground experience.
