ETLIN-DANIELS has manufactured and supplied Electrical and Mechanical Hardware products to the North American Market since Henry B. Etlin founded HB Etlin Co. in 1949. Originally a metal stamping facility, the building still resonates with the sounds of metal and copper being stamped into many formed products for today's OEM and Distribution markets. And, while we no longer make all of the original products in-house, the current machinery and production associates are able to furnish many standard and custom designed solutions with much more aggressive lead times than the overseas suppliers many of our competitors currently rely on. A very comprehensive line of Lighting Components was added to the HB Etlin mix in the 1990's that includes Lampholders for Incandescent, Halogen, Fluorescent, Compact Fluorescent and HID lamps, Power Cords, Outlets and Plugs, Switches, AC & DC Fans, Halogen & Outdoor Transformers, Ballasts - Magnetic & Electronic, and Sensors. Over the next decade, and through acquisition integration, the Lamp Parts and Lighting Suspension Systems categories were built up. More recent additions, with a focus on today's technologies, and the demands of our market, have added on LED Drivers and Lighting Controls - two categories that we will continue to focus on and grow. In the mid 1990's, associates in Etlin-Daniels purchased Electrical Devices Inc. (EDI), a manufacturer of Miniature Lampholders, Indicator Lights, Switches and Wire Harnesses. EDI offers turn-key engineered solutions in wire harnesses and custom cable assemblies for electro-mechanical and power supply applications. Their commitments to quality control, competitive pricing and on-time deliveries have made EDI a valued partner to many OEMS and wholesalers.
