In 1998, Ethos endeavored to provide the missing link in e-commerce , to develop innovative technology that virtually guarantees reliable digital product delivery. We believe reliable digital product delivery and a seamless user experience, are both necessary components to any successful on-line commerce strategy. Our flagship product, EthosLink, exceeds these goals and provides the only fully automated Click & Forget on-line product delivery capability. Being first to market, Ethos has been awarded U.S. patent protection for this unique technology that is soon to become the ubiquitous linchpin of all e-commerce transactions. In 1999, Ethos started R&D for a technology complimentary to EthosLink: a copyright protection system for digital goods, whether they are delivered on-line or via electronic medium (CD). The resulting patented (and patent-pending) digital rights management system EthosLock provides the most secure protection against piracy available. EthosLock is also completely seamless and unobtrusive to end-users. Today, we are working closely with the leaders of e-commerce systems, and their customers, in making EthosLink the standard delivery solution for software, music, and data files, in both the Internet and wireless environments. We are also developing additional products, including extending EthosLink into the wireless devices (PDA's), and a download manager for consumers.
