Our goal is to educate and empower our members without the pain of studying and preparation, vetting of professionals, consideration of fees, and identifying and removing other barriers to success. We break down traditional finance concepts and explain key advancements to the beginner in an easy, funny and robust way via short animations, blog posts, comics, and infographics. We are developing Portfolio Shepherd, a simple and transparent professional quality tool, that is catered to the beginner, and built on tried and true concepts in modern portfolio theory. It illustrates the same financial math as the robo-advisors – suggesting an 'optimal' portfolio of stocks/ETFs. Yet, unlike other advisers and robo-advisers, we don’t take your money, so you can use us in conjunction with other investing platforms. We want to help you to become more informed and in better control of your finances.
